Sustainable Xmas -Tips to resist the pressure to be sucked into the stressful shopping frenzy:

a) Go cold turkey and give up buying presents. While you're at it, give up turkey too.

b) If that's too hardcore for you, just buy yourself a nice present, thank all your family and friends for it, and suggest that they do the same.

c) As a last resort - buy all your gifts at

Saturday Nov 25 from 3-6pm at Hornsey Vale Community Centre N8 9LP

• Unique gifts handmade by the stallholders themselves 
• Cafe area with homemade cakes and foraged cocktails 
• Info about interesting local events.

Shop, chat, relax, have fun, and keep your money in the local economy.

Organised by Transition Crouch End & Sustainable Haringey. (You can just come and hang out if you've already given up buying presents.)
